The world is changing rapidly around us.
We, as the leading educational community in the world, must be prepared to respond with results-oriented solutions that meet the need of a demographic that is no longer emerging but rather already here.
-
Our definitions of the “traditional” college or university and “traditional” student no longer apply as these labels do not represent the majority of learners in higher education but rather the minority…by a growing margin each year.
-
The mission of the New University Exchange is to recognize that higher education has changed and to provide a forum for leading institutions to share ideas, best practices, research and experiences that will accelerate and improve our collective response to a changed market.
This not for profit design organization is solely designed to help ensure that the quality, speed and commitment of our responses to this opportunity will allow us to define both the present and future before it is defined for us.
As an industry we have a significant head start over emerging educational providers both domestically and internationally but the world has changed.
We need to increase the magnitude and quality of our response or run the risk of becoming another in a long line of case studies reviewed by learners in colleges and universities on another side of the world.
